Education at GRC
Exciting environmental education is key to promoting lasting change
and conducive mind-sets that enable long-term conservation efforts.
We offer three basic types of programs:
“Reptile Wonders,” our most popular program, features
10-12 live-reptiles, ranging from snakes and lizards to turtles
and alligators, along with appropriate visual aides like skins,
skulls, teeth, and eggs. All of our programs follow the premise
that learning can be both entertaining and fun. In addition to our
Reptile Wonders program, we offer a variety of ecological/conservation
oriented live-animal programs that are tailored to meet specific
age-appropriate educational requirements.
1. Live-animal demonstrations
2. Live-animal displays
3. Live-animal demonstration/display combination
All of our programs are presented in a suitable manner reflective
of the age or educational-level of our target audience, be it kindergarten
through college or toddlers through seniors. In addition to primary
and secondary schools, we offer programming for youth groups, birthday
parties, scouts, boys and girls clubs, day camps, and retirement
